Job Description
Kelly Services is looking for a Logistics Administrative Assistant
This position is responsible for assisting with the coordination of shipping, tendering, providing of equipment and paperwork associated with transportation activity of the Valley, Nebraska location. This position works in a team setting with the Logistics Administrators and Coordinators, and is responsible for assisting with the daily duties related to domestic shipments for the Valley site. This includes assisting the Coordinators and Administrators with inbound shipments, including rail shipments. Incumbent will also be responsible for assisting with respect to freight rates, the Transportation Management System (TMS), and the loss and damage claims process. Will also assist by handling paperwork for outbound shipments including bills of lading and associated paperwork. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting production and financial information to increase productivity and efficiency in the distribution center.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
Five or more years of solid administrative work experience
Previous experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, or Customer Service
Strong knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer
Associate Degree or two years of undergraduate level schooling in related field
Basic Qualifications (Required):
The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with a focus on accuracy, follow through, and communication
Positive, professional demeanor in all interaction with colleagues, carriers, customers and vendors
Very good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Ability to investigate and resolve shipment-related complaints, in a fast-paced work environment, while meeting tight deadlines
Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
